Archiving REDCap Projects

Last updated 5 months ago

Archiving REDCap projects can be done when a project is complete or regularly to create "snapshots" of a project.

To archive, you need to capture both both data and project metadata. REDCap has Export functions for both.

To export data, click on "Data, Exports, Reports, and Stats", then click on Export Data. Export the data with the raw data format.

To export the project metadata, click on "Data, Exports, Reports, and Stats", then click on the "Other Export Options" tab. Click on the "REDCap.xml" button.
