Surplus Computers

Our Suplus department requires that all items including computers, laptops etc. that are no longer of use to the department or another department in the university be sent to the surplus department. The items are required to be entered in the Recoup surplus system.

Helena Middleton-Brown has access to Recoup. Contact her and provide her with the following information: Asset #, Type (laptop, PC, etc), Manufacturer, Serial #, Model #, and location (office # or suite # is sufficient).

Once items are entered in Recoup, the surplus department will have visibility to them and a surplus representative will contact you about a day and time range to get them.

Before that pickup you will need to contact Information Solutions department and ask them to come and remove the hard drives from each one and sign the scrub sheet that you need to complete for them and the surplus department. Once they sign the scrub sheet it needs to be emailed to Ranada Rivers before she will include the items on a truck run to pick them up.
