# Server Permissions
## Getting server permissions
Contact your system administrator and specify which folders/studies/data you would like access to as well as your NetID.
## Granting server permissions

The vdrive server control is done in Microsoft Remote Desktop.
Once it is installed, add the vdrive server with the following values:

1. Login to Microsoft Remote desktop
2. Add user to the appropriate group in Computer Management.
* If needed, locate specific folder and add user via Properties > Security
