# VPN Access

1. [Register your NetID for use with the VPN here](https://portal.musc.edu/vpn/SitePages/Home.aspx) 
2. [Download the Cisco AnyConnect here](https://musc.app.box.com/s/3aqztlc5t5vlkgv9q5rlmoiz8bthqacc?sortColumn=date\&sortDirection=DESC) (choose the newest version for your OS that does not have “predeploy” in the file name) or try [this link for the most updated VPN](https://musc.app.box.com/s/t957c9h8wj01m811s2xg3ekr4cfpy0x8/file/1909754458977).
3. Install Cisco AnyConnect (download from step 2 will be in your download folder – double click and follow prompts) 
4. Open Cisco AnyConnect 
5. In the top portion labeled “VPN”, enter vpn.musc.edu and click “Connect”

Troubleshooting: 

1. Ensure that you’re connected to the internet 
2. Ensure that you’ve entered the VPN address (vpn.musc.edu) without a space at the end
